ometimes, clients may forget their appointment time due to busy schedules. By automating reminders, you allow clients to respond at their convenience, significantly boosting response rates.

Long-term clients might feel embarrassed if they miss an appointment, so sending a gentle reminder makes it easier to keep commitments.

For example, you can set an email reminder 10 minutes before the appointment starts. To do this, simply create a workflow.

Next, give your workflow a name and select ‘Booking Starts’ as the trigger. Then, choose the action you want, such as ‘Send Email’ or any other action that fits your needs.
Then, click the ‘Create’ button. This will redirect you to the newly created workflow configuration page, where you can customize the details further.
Once you’re on the workflow configuration page, edit the ‘Booking Starts’ option. You can then set your desired reminder time— for example, 10 minutes before the appointment. Additionally, you have the option to select the ‘After’ option, allowing you to send notifications 10 minutes after the booking starts. The same functionality is available under the ‘Booking Ends’ option, enabling you to send notifications both before and after the appointment ends.
Additionally, you can apply filters to set this reminder workflow for specific services, staff, or locations. Once you’ve adjusted the options, click ‘Save’.

The final step is to configure the action, such as ‘Send Email’. You can also click the ‘Save & Test’ button to preview your notification template before it’s used for real appointments.
